Breathe in and out and pay acute attention to the feeling of your breath coming in and moving out of your nostrils. Keep your eyes gently closed….and listen to the amount of in breathsout. You may find after a couple of minutes of feeling silly….that your focus will subtly change to NOTHING out of the amounts, and the sensations of the breath entering and leaving our body. Congratulations – You’re meditating!
With a Mantra for Meditation
Again, very simple for beginners. (and is the fundamental portion of Transcendental Meditation, that’s practiced by millions!) Simply say, and repeat a word over and over again. . .until EVERYTHING becomes blocked out besides the mantra. Again, using a word or phrase enables the brain to hone in and focus ferociously on ONE easy object to the exclusion of everything else. . .and over a couple of minutes of concentrated effort, you’ll end up melting into the puzzle of a magnificent meditation also! Very cool, fun and effortless stuff indeed!
